The Swedish Craftsmanship Experience

A day out with Volvo

Volvo is Latin for ‘I roll’ and was originally trademarked in 1915 with ball bearing production in mind. But 18 million cars later, Volvo has come to mean much more. Kessaku, which means a ‘masterpiece’ in Japanese is an exclusive offering by the Phoenix Group, located at Rajajinagar, Bangalore. This luxury residential apartment building is based on the idea of simplicity in complexity.

Bringing Passions Together

Immaculate design and luxury is a common thread between Swedish and Japanese cultures. Bringing these fibers together, Volvo Cars India and Phoenix Kessaku conducted a Display and Drive event on 11th March 2018 at Phoenix Kessaku premises.

This invite-only event let potential customers experience the Volvo all-road portfolio. The main highlight of the event was the display of the all-new Volvo V90 Cross Country. Alongside the V90 sat the flagship Volvo XC90. The attendees enjoyed test driving the new Volvo XC60 in two phases. The first phase of the test drive course was set through the spacious and well-assigned basement parking of Phoenix Kessaku. And the second phase involved driving the nimble vehicle through the cumbersome traffic of Bangalore in comfortable seats, surrounded by the highest quality of wood and leather.

Enriching Aesthetic Value

The event offered an opportunity to all the participants to understand the concept behind Phoenix Kessaku and witness the fast-paced progress of the project. The emphasis on quality, attention to detail, pragmatic design and decadence at display across Phoenix Kessaku drew close examination. Many appreciated how the lines between art, design, and luxury have been blended seamlessly.

Once acquainted with the names of the five towers- Sora, Niwa, Mizu, Faia, Zefa, participants were curious to understand their meaning. Phoenix Kessaku representatives were delighted to explain the context and relevance of these Japanese words. Sora – The Sky, manifests the home of the soul, thought and all energy. Niwa – The Earth, symbolises the verdant garden nurturing everything from the very earth. Mizu – The Water signifies the deepest lake whose waters infuse tranquillity. Faia – The Fire, epitomises the idea of vibrancy and energy. Zefa – The Breeze, embodies the gentle zephyr that caresses and nourishes all life.

The event was also made special with mouthwatering delicacies and music. Phoenix Group is known for its hospitality across the country, and this event marked another success story.

Phoenix Group strives to bring people of similar mindset together. With this event, Volvo car lovers were introduced to a unique setting within the city where they can develop camaraderie and connect with their future neighbors.
